Podcasts for growth, connection and personal development

There’s been a lot written about the sudden and sustained growth of podcasts in the past 3 years, since the runaway success of the WBEZ podcast Serial, in October 2014. The numbers of downloads, the potential for revenue. There’s also been a lot of commentary to suggest that podcasts are just a feature length advertisement, another opportunity for product placement.

As a communications company with a mission to Engage Humanity, we’d like to believe that the best podcasts offer so much more. The evolution of the search for knowledge. The need to connect and communicate with other people on a personal level and learn verbally. The value of a story passed from person to person.

Here’s a selection of the podcasts our team have been learning from and enjoying.
