MET Recycling sustainably recycles building waste materials into eco-friendly products that can be used in residential, civil, and infrastructure construction projects. From their state-of-the-art recycling facility at Silverwater, in the heart of western Sydney, they recycle over 99 percent of materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill.

The challenges

Digitising communications to increase reaction times. MET Recycling is focused on enhancing its business operations to continually improve its Quality Management System, and to enhance its already obtained ISO standards and EPA responsibilities. One of the ways they are looking to exceed their ISO requirements is by digitising their communications, processes, and forms. Previously, MET Recycling’s safety system was paper-based and many had manual touch points which slowed the reaction time of the business. These forms are live on MET Recycling’s intranet, MET Recycling-hub, and are accessible via QR codes attached to certain pieces of equipment or signs.
